The Annual Meeting & Our Club in Photos
Please register and RSVP for the upcoming Annual Meeting & Our Club in Photos to be held on Saturday September 12th at 2:00 PM to 4:40 PM at the Margie Edinger Conference Room at Santa Clara Central Park Library, 2635 Homestead Road, Santa Clara, CA, in the Mary Edinger Community Room. Some of us will look for dinner after at a restaurant to be decided.
At the Annual Meeting we all get together to welcome our new members and talk about past activities. If you have a friend who has expressed interest in Friendship Force, bring them along. This is the time to learn about what we do and discuss the new ways in which we can travel and host.
Our business items this year are to discuss the state of the club and elect new officers. We will also fill out the poll to decide where to journey in 2027. This poll has been moved to the Annual Meeting from the December Luncheon, which had been the past custom.
We have important topics to discuss at this meeting!
We should thank our members who have sponsored many LEOS this year, as well as Ravi’s and Stuart’s work with Meetup! We have several new young members who want to travel!
Please join us at the Santa Clara Central library, Saturday, September 12th, 2 – 4 pm for our club’s Annual Meeting and Photo Sharing Event. There will be many things covered at our Annual Meeting:
1. Share photos from our recent trips to Atlanta, GA & Fortaleza, Brazil
2. Elect officers for 2027
3. Fill out a survey of international trip destinations for 2028
4. Learn about our upcoming 2027 trips (Africa & Colorado)
After the meeting we will go to a local restaurant for drinks and snacks.
