FFSFBA "Birthday" Prusch Park Celebration

Celebrate our two FFSFBA “Birthdays” with  Dinner Out and with Cake at the Prusch Park Friendship Forest

Our Friendship Forest in Prusch Park turns 30 this year and we have just completed a major renovation with many new posts and mulch. Our club turns 41 years this May! Come and celebrate both events on Saturday May 17^th with a late-afternoon Mexican dinner and then a visit to the Friendship Forest for cake.

We will first meet for dinner at 3:00 PM at La Mas Querida Cantina and Cocina, located at 1632 Story Road in San Jose, directly across Story Road from Prusch Park. La Mas Querida is new this year and offers “modern, elevated” Mexican cuisine. Check out the menu at the link lasmasqueridasj.com This is no ordinary Mexican restaurant. After dinner we will move to the Friendship Forest for birthday cake and a final beverage.

Getting to the restaurant: Start by putting "La Mas Querida" in your GPS.  It's at1632 Story Road, San Jose.

La Mas Querida fronts on Story road with parking behind in the Tropicana Plaza.

From 101, exit east on Story Road. Pass Knox Street and then turn right into the plaza immediately after the restaurant.  If you miss the turn, take the next right at the light on King Street and then another right into the plaza.

From 280/680, take the south exit on King Street, pass Story Road and turn right into the plaza.  Drive a couple hundred yards and park behind the restaurant.

After dinner we will drive to the Prusch Park parking area and assemble at the Friendship Forest.
